My father has dementia and can be very difficult to work with. My family and I have worked with several agencies and we couldn’t find a good fit. Golden Age Companions came highly recommended to us through a friend, and we couldn’t be happier with their customer service and the care provided. The caregivers they sent are experienced and knowledgable and handle my dad’s difficulties with ease. We only wish we had signed on with them sooner.

His team of caregivers and office staff are professional, experienced, with a fast response time. It is so important the families I work with have excellent care and his team provides the best. After my dad passed my mom was really lonely and not getting around as well. She developed anxiety and depression. Our family called Golden Age Companions desperately looking for someone to look after our mom. We wanted to disrupt her life as little as possible by letting her stay home. GAC provided us with a great woman to look after and be a companion to my mom. She cooks, cleans, takes my mom to her doctor’s appointments and shopping. They play cards and do puzzles and have really bonded. Golden Age’s office even handled everything with my mom’s long-term care insurance policy to ensure we didn’t have to pay out of pocket.
Golden Age Companions has provided me with jobs I can manage part time while I’m in nursing school. The staff and clients have all been really friendly and with the training I’ve received in nursing school, I keep safety in mind while having fun engaging with my client. Overall it’s a rewarding job.
I had to use Golden Age Companions for my in-home mother living in the Newport Beach area. They really provide excellent care. I never had to worry about my mom, she always raved about the kind of care she received. The caregivers went above and beyond what their job titles were, and really loved her. Made me feel really good especially since I live out of state. Definitely recommend this company.
