Dr Gruenenfelder is extremely nice and understanding. I had seen at least 4 other urologist before I found her! She cares and works with you to figure out your problem. Because of her I am not having anymore bladder infections. Before I came to her i was in the hospital 3 times for 5 days each because of a bladder infection. She has everything under control!

When another doctor didn't even try to look farther into my issue, Dr Gruenenfelder took the steps and testing needed to get to the root cause instead of just treating the symptoms and sending me on my way. During my first visit Dr G knew the right Test which neither of the other two physicians thought of to diagnose my recurring UTI. Stephanie, her nurse Called me back within hours when I called the office in pain. Dr.Gruenenfelder is a gem and has been treating me with my Interstitial cystitis, kidney stones and kidney infections and is the only doctor that has finally figured out my medical issues and can come in on a once a year basis. She listens and truly cares about her patients.

The office staff at this location are very unprofessional. Shellie called from the Billing Department because she claimed my insurance was invalid. (Mind you I have PPO through GEHA) She stated that she believed I was committing insurance fraud and when I asked for her Supervisor Diane she told me to shut up and put me on a hold for 15 minutes to tell me I wouldn't be allowed to speak to her. I questioned Shellie as to why I would not be able to speak to the office manager and she said that if I keep asking she would tell the doctor and the office manager not to see me and how I treated her. I have never ever experienced such vile and pathetic treatment by any medical office. It took me over a week to even get an appointment scheduled and then Shellie calls to tell me I'm committing fraud? This woman is an absolute disgrace and honestly a clear representation of how patients are treated. I still have yet to receive a call from Diane, but I have filed a complaint with Hoag hospital to do an investigation with this medical office. I never had a chance to meet Dr. GRUENENFELDER but I am glad I did not because according to SHELLIE I would be treated as less than a human because she was going to tell the doctor on me. Pathetic! Shellie and Diane you should be ashamed of yourselves. Especially Shellie with a foul attitude and her idle threats.

Great at first, but when I questioned results- she dropped me WITHOUT notice, leaving me with unknown explanation for recent kidney test & with a kidney stone. Unprofessional, disappointing & extremely alarming!
