I met and hired Stefanie Brabec to be my attorney in 2013 when I was served divorce paper after 15 years of marriage. My first meeting with her, I walked into her office and she saw a broken woman and mom who was fighting to be with her children. She reassured me she would do everything possible to be reunited with them. Our hopes of it being quick was an understatement. She was thrown many curveballs during the process from opposing counsel. Petitioner's attorney had been changed multiple times, custody evaluation and many unnecessary delays. My divorce took 5 years to finalize. I never doubted, did I choose the right attorney? My trust in her did not waiver. I knew God crossed our paths for a greater purpose. During those 5 years, she looked out for our children's and my best interest. She gave me wise and sound counsel. She was always on top of things no matter her caseload. I always felt like a priority. She worked with me and my financial situation of being a single mom. She become more than just my attorney. She was our voice and our advocate. She became a friend and confidante. Divorce is devastating, however, with her walking along side me I found the inner strength and confidence to know I was going to be better than okay. She was one of many who helped me to become the woman and mom I am today. For that, I will forever be grateful. I highly recommend Stefanie Brabec if you are looking for a great family law attorney.

She is a do it yourself divorce attorney. You’re charged for every phone call and email. She’ll tell you to do the work yourself and doesn’t do much. Being a divorce attorney isn’t her strong point. She just sat back and coasted. Her first meeting she made you feel confident in her. I had to complete tons of work and compiling information, proof etc. At the end none of it mattered. I had to do a discovery of all my stuff but none of my ex’s was sent to her. I had to do all the negotiating and in the long run got screwed.
