Dr. Aszterbaum has been the one constant in my contact list of doctors, and I have many years of seeing various doctors in OC. I never intend to leave her care as she has proven time and again that she knows what she's doing. Dr. Aszterbaum's extraordinary professionalism and sincere concern are evident with every visit and follow up interaction, and I feel confident and safe knowing that she will continue to be there for me in the future. If there were an additional 5 stars to give, I would give her 10 stars.

No care at all! She did not listen to me and the middle of me talking she started leaving the room. When I asked her if she is coming back she said yes! me taking time of work with a toddler my every minute counts. After 15 mins of waiting I asked her assistant where the doctor is and she replied she had a meeting and I can leave if I want. MEETING, in the middle of patients visits!? What kind of a practice it is? when I explained to the assistant that we were taking and after doctors checkup I was explaining my symptoms, she said she’ll tell the doctor to come back, she finally came back after 20 mins with a surprised face :) I think this kind of practices which is totally based on making money and quantity of seeing patients should be reported to some specific center and penalized for wasting patients time and money and putting their health in risk for ignorance.
This review is based on my experience with Dr. Aszterbaum years ago with my first pregnancy. My baby was born premature - I know there were a lot of factors including my medical condition but I feel the Doctor never really pay attention to my symptoms. I will say that if you have a non-complicated pregnancy then you should go to this office - but if you are high risk or feel that you need more attention then do not go here!! After my second pregnancy, the Doctors that saw me mentioned that my preterm labor could have been prevented or delay if the Doctor (Aszterbaum) would have just run couple of more test instead of sending me home because I was complaining of pain. Two days later my baby was born at 24 weeks!! The Doctor never called me to find out how I was or my baby - after my baby was born and stayed in the NICU for 100 days. So no - I will NEVER recommend this practice. Google does not allow me for ZERO stars. If you are pregnant I wish you a very happy and healthy pregnancy :)
I visited Dr Monica Aszterbaum with a health issue about 6 months ago. It was a great experience. She is just what you need in this field of medicine - gentle, thoughtful, she listens to your symptoms, asks lots of questions and explains her diagnosis / opinion / care recommendations. I would highly recommend her. Luckily my health is in good shape :).
I did not have a good experience with this doctor or facility! They don’t care enough about you as a patient to go above and beyond, especially when you reach out for help as a patient in need. The doctor nor staff care enough to put themselves in your shoes when as their patient you are asking for a simple request. Maybe if I had made an appointment & they were getting paid for their time....maybe then they would pretend to care. You are just another number & a paycheck for them. You know yourself best & if a doctor doesn’t care enuf about you to help then move on to a doctor that does. Here you just be another patient cycling thru.
