Pitiful. Lot rent increase, I expect it to happen yearly. I don't know if Newport is the property Management or the owner of Warwick Mobile in Newport News, VA, BUT either way not good, not good at all. And the\on-site\ maintenance guy Otis Buchanan, well I guess he was trained by the company he works for. I have just a few years left in this hell hole, which is the only reason I'm staying and suffering through the overcharges, no maintenance, Mobile Home Hell Park.
This is a terrible company to rent from.I was fraudulently rented a trailer.And when corporate found out I almost was evicted.then she made a agreement with me to reduce rent .and the manager Never did .so now they want me to move.. CROOKS!!!!
When we first started living at the Park view estates which is managed by Newport Pacific. We didn't really have any issues. The park even helped us prepare a few things on our house. someone had broken the window out on my stepsons bedroom. And they helped fix the window. They even made a few little concessions to allow me to have a few things on my carport because we can't park all the way in too our carport. But it's been huge rate increases every year. And now horrible employment of the managers here at the park. I've lived here for a little more than three years. And now all of a sudden I'm having certain rules being enforced upon me I have never been enforced upon anybody else in this park. Ive never had a problem working on my vehicles. But now I'm being told that it's not allowed. I've had issues with their groundskeepers who maliciously clip down my grass and said they were edging it which is not edging that pretty much killed the edge. But if you go and look at everybody else's lawn in the park they have proper edging not clip down by weed wacker because a landscaper was having a bad day. I use to believe this company was going to do some good. But now I here talk about lawsuits for failure to maintain. Don't buy a house in one of their managed communities. Unless you're a senior. They shouldn't give you any problems if you are.
Update from last year. Space rent up another 4% this year. We've gone through 2 different managers. My backyard fence has been repaired but there are 3 different colors of wood due to low cost repairs. they don't allow media on here or I'd show it. It's comical at this point. Update from last year.. Space rent is up another 8%. This community has a lot of residents with fixed incomes. Can't sell because any realtor knows they plan on taking what ever they can from the residents here at Wellington Estates. Greedy POS's. 1 star is NOT LOW ENOUGH!!! This company will not stop raising the rents in my park. SIGNIFICANT increases EVERY YEAR!!. I STRONGLY recommend you do not buy a home in any of their properties. I am fed up with the increases and I'm getting out before my home value plummets because of the frequent rent increases. Shame on these people!
These guys are the slumlords of slumlords. Through the past five years of living under there management the only thing I can say positive is that they are no longer here! I am now being billed accurately because they are no longer here also! Needless to say I have had a couple thousand dollars over charged for water and sewage as well as others in this park (Alpine Vista Village in Loveland)they were trying to make the case that I used 25000 gallons a month when I only used around 2500, that mixed with their management that would allow drug sales in the park,and being harassed by past managers because of asking questions about billing and other concerns.. I feel the worst for individuals with fixed income that live here. Wish I could give a neg star. I'm still waiting for a billing statement from them that they promised would be emailed. Lol pretty sure I'm not going to get it because it proves I'm right and they owe me. If you want to buy a mh don't do it where these crooks manage and if you are a mhpark looking for management don't use this company if you care at all for your residents.
