I have been with the coach here for just about a year now. He teaches you to be as well rounded as you can. Best of all, he builds up a good community. And his work teaching martial arts for children living with autism is admirable. Real inclusive environment. Highly recommended.

This is a super fun learning environment for all levels. I had some muay thai experience and just wanted to get back into it. Dennis' energy is so positive and so good! He really cares about each of his students, and the classes are formatted in a way that beginners to advanced students are challenged and learning. I was having trouble keeping the combinations straight, so Dennis took extra time to help me get up to speed. I highly recommend this fun, high energy class!

Proprietor Kru Dennis' passion for martial arts is more than obvious--it's contagious. His curriculum changes monthly, which puts NME Martial Arts in the never-get-bored zone. He adds regressions and progressions to make the material challenging for novices and veterans alike. While cardio is part of the program, the real emphasis is on technique and community. Bonus, it's a lot of fun too.

If you're looking for a fun, genuine, and inclusive place to train Muay Thai, look no further! I've been to a lot of different gyms over the course of my martial arts training, and what I value the most are authenticity of the art, mutual respect between instructors and students, rigorous and challenging training, and just a happy and cool place to be. Kru Dennis Hall has created such an environment at NME Martial Arts, located inside Graviti fitness in Corona Del Mar. He has traveled to Thailand on multiple occasions and has even taken students with him to train with Golden era Muay Thai champions. Even though I have been training for over 10 years, I find that I always have something new to learn from Kru Dennis. He genuinely cares about his students and about each individual's personal growth. Come check it out! The first class is free and you'll always have a partner who will be willing to work with you and show you the ropes.
