We have had Somfy shades since 2014 and they have held up well. Recently, some of the shades started acting funny and randomly disconnected to the wall or handheld remote. When we contacted the installer, she suggested calling Somfy directly. My expectations for success were quite low, but I called and left a message for a return call. Sure enough about 1 hour later a rep called back. We spent about 1 hour on the phone with Drew who was patient, knowledgeable and could very good at his job. I wasn't expecting to enjoy fixing the blinds, but it was actually FUN! As additional problems arose or tweaks needed based on my spouse's input, Drew handled everything very professionally. I was very impressed and it made my day to have all the blinds working as they should. Drew should be promoted or congratulated on his customer service by the company! 2020 is going to be GRRREAT! I have Somfy shades throughout our home. They have never worked correctly or as represented, whether using the remote or Alexa. I have hired 3 different installers; each told me that could that fix the issue. All 3 failed, the past sub-contractor gave up and did not send me a bill. I was a large volume tract home builder; and I have never had a problem like this one. So frustrating!
