I wouldn't refer a dog to live at The Cannery Apartments in Gilroy,California . The apartments are ran poorly and the company allowed a brand new building get destroyed in less than a year . Not only that .. I wen't through absolute hell trying to put what I thought a decent roof over my head . First of all this company seem like they did everything in their power to keep me from moving in .... If it wasn't for God and my worker stepping in I not gotten the apartment and no telling how much longer I would of remained homeless . I realize now i might of been a block from God as to why I was given a hard time with my paperwork when I was trying to move in because after finally moving in its been nothing but pure MISERY living here . This complex is just a step up from being homeless and around a bunch people who don't care about nothing or nobody but themselves ! Only difference is ....I signed A LEASE and I PAY RENT to have my privacy and my own space . I'ts clearer to me this company obviously doesn't value and appreciate good tenants Apparently everyone who filled out a application weren't screened the same as I was ......otherwise the lease they signed would be adhered, the property would be respected ,fellow tenants would be respected and the company would be enforcing all of the above ! Also this complex living isn't the place for you ! if you're clean ,want diversity ,equality , want to feel safe and comfortable this complex living isn't for you. The units itself are nice and clean and very spacious but if you have to accept the negative things that come with singing the lease and a company who obviously is taking a seat somewhere doing nothing look somewhere else.

If I could post a zero minus, I would. I put a 500 deposit down on a new apt. in a complex being constructed in Carson. I was told by their manager that as soon as a 1 bedroom apt. became available, they would let me know. In the meantime, the manager told me on several occasions, over the phone and in-person, \let's get you moved in\. Taking her at her word, I moved all of my belongings into a storage unit in Carson at a cost of over 1000 for moving fees, etc. An apt. finally became available but due to some mix-up on their end with my paperwork, they gave the apt. to someone else. I was told my only choice was to wait for the final phase of construction to complete. I waited over 6 months and just when the final phase was in completion, I was told I had to re-submit my qualifying paperwork all over again. I did this, and two days before Christmas, the manager told me I no longer qualified for a lower income apt. but that I did qualify for a pricier one. However, she (the manager) told me that they didn't have any of those available and to have a nice day, which was basically a f.u. to me. They should have their license pulled and be investigated for fraud and bad faith.

These people don't give or show any interest in their tenants, I have called then at one point more than sixty times and left them several voice messages but have not received a phone call back once.

The manager of my building has no respect for me.She does not answer my phone calls, or respond. I asked for help from maintenance at 9:20 A M and have not had a call back. I called again at 3:20 she did answer the phone. I called assistant and was told she was there.
