Great remote spot, extremely quiet. Shower and toilets in good condition and pretty clean. Hot water shower for a gold coin donation. Taps with non potable water on site. Just across from the tavern however kitchen currently closed due to covid19. Beware in wet conditions - floods in rain.

Long dirt road to quiet level site opposite pub. Kitchen closed, pies available. Interesting town. Dogs on leads welcome but apparently does not apply to everyone. Occasional traffic and locals on quads or minibikes. Satellite TV, ABC radio, good Telstra.

The camp is situated on a dry creek bed with a small dam in walking distance it has toilets and hot shower for gold coin donation which is all very good the place is interesting and the museum very very good the only thing that holds it back of the locals who drives their quads and motorbikes through the camp at 40 km an hour creating dust and not worrying where they run you over or not. But the camp itself is very good with the pub across the road.

Fantastic free camping ground, lots of shade trees and picnic tables throughout, with only a gold coin donation requested for use of hot showers. Ended up staying 2 nights as lots to see in the town. Recommend museum and Brian's Shed.
