It was 11degrees and dark outside. I needed to go 1 mile but I wasn't dressed for the weather. I looked up cab service nearest me in Cambridge, I called them, they came to me within minutes. The car was warm, and I got a friendly greeting. Very reasonable rates. I felt safe and comfortable during my ride. I was so appreciative that I didn't have to be cold and walk it. Couldn't beat the price. Thank you!

Today was my first time using Cambridge Cab in over a year. I called them at 3:30pm to request a ride for my teen daughter. Her original ride cancelled at the last minute, and she needed to be at work by 4pm. The cab arrived in less than 10 minutes, and got her to work with time to spare. I used this service to get back and forth from work and shopping for 6 months in 2018. My family (husband, children and I) got to know the main day driver (Robert) quite well. He was very courteous and helpful... and always willing to lend a hand when needed. What I appreciated most about him however, was his fairness and flexibility. Whenever there was a problem - he'd make it work! This is a very small company that's veteran owned and operated. They only have one or two vehicles (mini vans) operating at any given time. Because of this, I recommend scheduling rides in advance if possible, to avoid any wait time. Also, this company is the founding partner of the Minnesota safe ride program, \Safe Cab\. They give FREE rides (up to 15) to bar-goers every night of the week. If you need a taxi during those hours, be prepared to expect delays.
I really needed a ride home so I scheduled a ride with them. They've changed the name of the business though. I scheduled over 4 hours in advance and they were late by about 10 minutes. So if you need a ride in a tight time schedule I'd probably try to find another way. I wasn't running late particularly, but I have arthritis in my back so waiting when I had scheduled in advance so I wouldn't have to wait was painful. They got me home quickly though and seemed to know the area well which is nice. The vehicle was also clean and in good shape. They have a 5 minimum which I don't mind as well. -1 is for being late, as a professional business especially transportation based, you should be on time. Especially if the client is scheduled so far in advance. Everything else was fine though.
