We had been during thanksgiving break for a late lunch . The parathas are soft and yummy. In particular, we enjoyed our chilli garlic cheese abd paneer custom paratha as well as aloo tikki chaat. Will love to go back. The meals are value for money though the taste of the subjis ends up similar when ordering the thali.
Visited this tiny hoel-in-the-wall restaurant lady summer. We were a party of six. Waited for about 15 minutes. The variety of parts offered was mind boggling. The service staff were happy to assist with choice. Excellent food. Courteous service. When the check arrived, I examined to see if there was a service charge. Yes. There was a 10%. service charge. As we were very please with the food and service, wanted to add more as a tip. We were pleasantly surprised when more than one service person politely declined our offer of tip beyond service charge! \Sir! We are happy with the service charge! Please do come back.\ Wanna bet where I will be dining on my next visit to New Jersey?
food was great, nice and spicy, full of flavor, and great quality of food and drinks! but from the service standpoint, staff was rude to elderly patrons who were simply asking for a place to sit, staff neglected to allow the group to sit inside in 40 degree weather for 15 minutes. Staff neglected to wear masks correctly at hight of pandemic. Would recommend to those who aren’t 100% worried about service, hoping that staff can get it together!
I love the taste of food at this place and often order for pick up. They have nice varieties of paratha with customized (up to 5) stuffing. Lately, they changed the portion size for the pick-up order and packaging especially for parathas. They just give a single box with all parathas one over another. It has hard to find which paratha has the which stuffing. For example, if you have guests and order more than 2 customized parathas, you would need to first break side of parathas to get an idea about the stuffings inside and distribute. Secondly, they often goof up the order, and it has been for a while now. They add other than requested stuffings. Basically, there is scope to be more professional in taking and delivering the order as requested.
