We were looking for a new couch. We went to the Value City location in Woodbridge, NJ. Our experience here was so fantastic- we were working with Chris, who was so knowledgeable and the biggest help. We always dread going furniture shopping because of pushy salesman- not this time. Chris gave us a walk around of his store and all his favorite items, gave us time to walk around ourselves all while checking in periodically to see if we had any questions. He was upfront and honest about everything we needed. We told him we needed to think about some things, and he didn’t try to sell us anything else, made sure we had all information. Went to another furniture across the street, and quickly realized we did not get any customer service at all compared to Value City. We went back 20 minutes later and bought the couch right then and there. We had an incredibly stress free process, and Chris did everything he could to help us and answer any questions we had. I would 10000% recommend anyone go here and work with Chris, he was incredibly helpful! I would go back for any of our furniture needs!!!

I ordered two sofas on 9/27/2020 and was assisted by Mike, who said the delivery would take about 6 weeks. I called many times and was always given vauge responses. Only to be told almost two months later that I might get it in another two months (January 2021). I was a loyal customer and bought almost everything to fill my new house with value city furniture. I’m so dissatisfied and disappointed with the customer service and lack of communication.
We had worst experience at this retailer. We bought entire furniture for new house and told to have everything deliver in 3 months. 2 days prior to the delivery window, when we called, we were told there will be additional delay in delivering Sofa/Recliner chair for a month to 2 months. Although, we would have decided to wait there was still no guarantee to have it in another 2 months. The most horrible thing, we only figured this issue when we called them. They didn't let us know in advance at all. For our partial orders that we supposed to get without delay, in that too, we had a lot of struggle. The delivery never happened and called out to us that street was one-way (which was actually 2-way, you can see other delivery vehicles) and hard to find a way to have our furniture deliver to our address. We didn't satisfy with their customer service and answers were very vague from them. At the end, we cancelled our entire orders. Wouldn't recommend this place to my friends.
We dealt with Chris after our furniture delivery date was delayed. He was professional and very helpful in assisting us receive our furniture as soon as possible, and items to fill their place in the interim. He also took as much time as possible to ensure we received the best possible outcome. Would highly recommend speaking with Chris on any issues.
SURPRISINGLY BEAUTIFUL FURNITURE, QUALITY ITEMS. PRICES PRICES JUST A LITTLE HIGHER THAN BOB'S FURNITURE BUT NICE SELECTION. BOB'S ALSO HAS A BEAUTIFUL STYLISH SELECTION, QUALITY AND A BIT LOWER PRICES. SALESPEOPLE WERE NICE IN BOTH PLACES. THE TABLE SET IS GORGEOUS AND FITS WELL IN SMALLER KITCHEN, IT ALSO EXPANDS WHEN BOTH SIDE ARE UP AND PROPERLY EXTENDED. THE BEDROOM FURNITURE ALSO HIGH QUALITY AND ATTRACTIVE.
