We had a fantastic experience with Happy Pedal, Yamada-san, Yamada-mama ;-) and the whole team. Great bikes delivered to our hotel, great briefing, fantastic attention to details. Frankly exceeding our expectations. Ishigaki is great for cycling with great roads, low traffic and stunning landscapes! Definitely recommending Happy Pedal for a Happy cycle day!

We had a guided tour in early April. Yamada-San was very good with logistics so we were able to visit all the places we wanted to go to within a half-day trip (45 km).
As a couple visiting Ishigaki for a few days our whole experience with Happy Pedal was superb from start to finish! Every need was catered for and, with Happy Pedal being a family-run business, the experience came with a real personal touch. We were personally driven by the family to their shop and provided with refreshments on arrival. After cycling to the northern most point of Ishigaki, they then picked us up again and drove us back to our accomodation on the other end of the island. I could not recommend Happy Pedal more; the bikes were great, service was great, and the family were great company. You will not be disappointed!

I spent three weeks in Japan and this was without doubt the highlight - cycling around Ishigaki. 'Happy pedal' collected our group from the hotel we were staying at in the city. We were brought to their base and set us up on Spritualized road bikes! The bikes are of exceptional quality. They are very well maintained and in perfect condition. Plenty of time was taken to make sure we were comfortable with the bike set-up prior to departure. We never felt rushed and were always made at ease despite our many requests. Maps and helpful information were provided. They were even so good as to send out the broom wagon to pick us up when the heat got too much for us! Amazing experience thanks to amazing service of Happy pedal!
出張ついでに4月の下旬に利用。スペシャのアレーをレンタル。丁寧な説明でバイクもコースも不安解消。その時々の天候などでコースアドバイスもいただきとてもよいサイクリングを楽しめました。 自分もロードバイクに乗りますが、こちらのバイクのメンテは万全です。特に海に囲まれた島なのにサビも見当たらずチェーンもピカピカ。変速もスムーズで言うことなしです。オーナーの真摯な心意気が伝わってきます。 石垣港あたりから明石食堂（昼営業あり）折り返しでほぼ一周楽しんできました。最高でした！ ちなみに川平湾近くのパン屋、ベーカリーピナコラーダでパンをテイクアウトして行ったのですが、海を見ながら美味しく頂きました！ またこちらでバイクレンタルして楽しみたい！
予約応対から当日の段取り＆レクチャー、返却時のお迎えまで、完璧な対応をして頂き、とてもいい思い出になりました。ご用意頂いた自転車についても5日間使い倒しましたが故障は一切無く、とてもしっかりとしたコンディションでした。初心者の方でもおすすめなお店です。 余談ですが、私は人混みを避ける為に島北側の比較的閑散としている地域の宿泊先を選びましたが、たどり着くまでに坂が多く、幾度となく心が折れそうになりました。北側に行くほどお店の数が少なくなるので、自転車で島を一周される方はご飯や水の確保にご注意ください。
初心者でわからないことだらけでしたがとても親切に教えてくださって不安なく楽しむことができました！ お店の方がとてもフレンドリーで、お話ししていて本当に楽しかったです！ 今回島一周は難しかったですが、2日かけてゆっくり東側、西側どちらも回ることができました。 今度は最北端まで行きたいです！その際はまたよろしくお願いします。
