This is quite possibly the most UNFRIENDLY and INHOSPITABLE restaurant on the whole of Ishigaki. Upon entering the place, we were instantly looked upon as unwelcome guests and got to hear that there was no more place - though, already standing inside, it was clear that there were still several tables unoccupied and that the service was still far from over. Saying that we didn’t mind waiting a while did not help, as the next moment we were already shown to the door with an indifferent wave of the hand. If you don’t want to have your evening or appetite ruined, strongly recommend to NOT waste neither your time nor your money on this place!

One of the best places we have been to in Japan! All the meat we had was great and tasted absolutely delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Great meat experience with a surprising and flavor rich way of presenting the dishes. Quality is certain and cooking level adjusted to each type of meet. A great restaurant.
We had a beautiful dinner tonight! On Sundays and off season not many restaurants are open in the area around Kabira Bay, so we decided to go, even with my wife being vegetarian. Eating no meat was not a problem at all! There is an english Menu and many dishes can be made without meat at all. The beef was delicious and the Yuba salad with garlic chips was superb!
purple potatoes salad was tasty! didn't tried beef since we were not hungry. staff were friedly.
The beef here is maybe the best beef I’ve had in my life. This is the best restaurant I ate at while in Ishigaki for 8 days. The food is all very well executed, service is great, and prices are lower than many places on the island. Interior of restaurant is nice, professional high level serving staff. I had smoked liver, onion soup, namerou, pork, and local vegetable kimchi before the beef - all excellent.
We had the Ishigaki wagyu beef (chuck) with a special touch. It's served rare and the beef is great like many other places with that offer this Okinawan , but Kabiratei gave it a beautifully smoked flavour that comes through in the first bite. It also comes with local salt, and this amazing balsamic reduction enhanced with Okinawan long pepper. This is a good place to splurge and try this beef in a one-of-a-kind way (about 4-5,000 yen per person, 300 yen cover charge and compulsory one drink purchase per person). But their cocktails are quite bad, I'd pick the beer or awamori instead.
Everything we ordered was really good, the fried noodle, seaweed tempura, and the meat of course were great.
