Worth a quick stop as you're traveling up north. It has a few quick paths through the jungle to explore that lead to 1 shrine. The path is rocky but easily managed as the rocks are huge to walk on. Big huge trees to walk around. Signs are only in Japanese. If you run into the worker he can tell you in Japanese what is there and the significance behind everything. Free parking on site. A clean public bathroom. No vending machines.

1951年10月沖縄本島の大宜味村から来た入植者により伊野田集落が誕生し、 その記念碑が建てられています。
不思議な空間でした。石垣のような岩が、ゴロゴロしてます。大きな磐座の感じもします。
現在の伊野田集落は、比較的新しい集落の様で１９５１年の入植記念碑が鳥居の前にあります。 鳥居はそれ以前からあるようで、鳥居の奥にさらに古い入植記念碑があります。 伊野田集落も、もとは小さな集落が合併して出来ているようで、この御嶽が伊野田の御嶽と言っていいものかは定かではありません。
