The greatest! You do need to call and book reservation. Knock on the coral pink door to enter (no signage). I was lucky and my hotel called and found same day availability. The cats sit right up with you. The orange one is very soft and purring. I only speak English (little Nihongo) and the kind shopkeeper was able to slowly show me what to do. I made my own from clay, medium size, cost 3000 yen, plus then 1350 for shipping after they fire it up in the kiln (I live in Japan, so I am not sure if international shipping is possible, perhaps have your hotel check if that's what you need). I asked to paint it myself with acrylics at home and she said that is fine, since you can't paint until after it is baked. But you can also instead do a paint only course where you paint already-baked ones (and then take it home that day I think, but please call to check!). Overall a fantastic way to spend an hour. I also used my Go To coupons! Five big, big stars.
