Let me start by saying this bath house is one of the most beautiful bath houses I have ever been to. It’s clean, unique, and very relaxing. My complaint is that my friend got told to leave her relaxation because she had tattoos, but there were two other women in there who were Japanese and had tattoos who were allowed to stay in the hot spring. I understand the culture and the Japanese fear of tattoos because of yakuza and I respect the decision to not allow tattoos. With that being said, I do not think it is very fair how my American friend was asked to leave but those two women were allowed to stay. We did not see any signs that said no tattoos and if there were any signs then why were those two women allowed to stay? The majority of Americans have tattoos, but if we are being honest I think it makes more sense that two Japanese women with tattoos would more likely be members of yakuza than one American woman who quite clearly was speaking English and doesn’t look Japanese at all. It’s not fair to kick one person out but let the other two stay, my poor friend felt very discriminated against. I love the hot spring it was my favorite but I will no longer be coming to this hot spring, I cannot agree with the double standard of kicking one person out for having tattoos but letting two others stay who also have them. That is just wrong.

Water was not too hot, there are a few baths outside. Food was good. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Very relaxing
Nice
