石岡市府中５丁目の〔常陸国分寺〕弘法大師堂の前に芭蕉句碑がある。 蕉翁吟 いさ行かん雪見にころふところまて This Haiku monument stands at Kokubunji in Ibaraki prefecture. Kokubunji is a Buddhist temple built in each of the provinces of Japan by the Emperor Shomu during the Nara era (710 – 794). Some temples still exist while others ruined. 季節の果樹が沢山有り和んだ場所ですね️
桜の季節はきれいです。ただ、駐車場が狭い（ほぼ無い）ので他の訪問者にお気遣いを。
全国にある国分寺の一つ。入口の案内看板が木々に覆われていて見づらいが、中の遺構は歴史を感じ取れるものがある。
由緒正しい寺院です。 子供の頃はよーくここで遊びました。 駐車場は確かなかったはず…。 ちょこっとあったかな…。
明治期に再建された現在の寺社からは、往時がイメージ出来ず。
