*Goshuins seals are available here* The shrine maidens manning a tent with the charms aren’t doing goshuins, it’s the elder man around the corner in a tent. You’ll know it’s him because there’s probably a small group waiting around for their books to be filled and he’s stamping the seals fervently (could be heard from the next tent). There’s about 5 different design with different colors he can put in your goshuin book (I just went with the traditional red seal to keep our book the same with all the other pages). There’s a nice series of red gates that loops around near one of the entrances as well, definitely a shrine worth visiting!

This is the oldest shrine in Kanazawa. I came here because I happened to drink beer with a character of this shrine called \Kema Chan.\ Maidens in Shinto religion of this shrine are so friendly!
beautiful shrine near 21 century museum in kanazawa
The Ishiura-jinja is the oldest jinja in Kanazawa. It’s nearby the kenrokuen garden and 21st century museum. Seems that it’s really popular to have a Omikuji here since there’re a huge amount of Omikujis been tied inside.
Well preserved shrine with nice atmosphere and really dedicated people working in it. If you are lucky, you can observe a drum concert which is a kind of mass or a prayer. Very lively and entertaining performance. Take your time to listen and have an interaction with players.
