Good for kids
Bill and Tonja were very welcoming. Not only did we have an enjoyable sleigh ride, we had an education as well! The kids sledded after the ride while the adults enjoyed the warmth from the fire. Definitely would do this again!

Our family had an amazing time at Sleighman's. Our sleigh ride was not only scenic but informative and fun. Our teens had a blast sledding afterwards so make time for that if it's available. We drove almost 3 hours for the experience and it did not disappoint. Our teens said it was the highlight of our trip to the UP.
We've taken part in several wintertime outings with the Sleighman. Included were magical horse drawn sleigh rides, an optional sledding hill, and hot cocoa around a bonfire. Their Norwegian Fjord Horses are stunningly beautiful and well cared for, and the snowy surroundings lovely. Bill is warm and friendly, and a great driver and tour guide. Perfect for family or group gatherings. So grateful for the memories of adventures there and looking forward to more!
We had an amazing time with the beautiful Norwegian Fjord horses and Bill and Tanya. Bill makes sure we are always safe, having fun, and learning during our time there. The farm is lovely and the horses are sweet. I rode with my 8 year old beginner/intermediate daughter and she loved it very much. We can’t wait to go again!
Always an excellent experience at Sleighman. I have done the sleigh rides, and am now doing private lessons with my daughters. The owner Bill teaches about the horses and equipment while he sets up everything. Then it’s on to the fun! A great family friendly experience and I highly recommend Sleighman to anyone looking for a unique outdoor activity.
