I've used Pickfords twice, moving for CT to Durban, over a year ago. Elana Knight helped me through the whole process, answered all my questions patiently during a very stressful time. She's a absolute star! I will only use Pickfords.

If I could give Pickfords Removals less than a 1 star I would. This company came recommended to us from family that had used them for their move from Johannesburg to Europe. You could say Pickfords basically had our business because of the great referral we received from our family but what an AWFUL, UNPROFESSIONAL and RUDE experience we had with ELANA KNIGHT. She LOST the business R100 000.00 in a sale. Here is a rundown of our experience dealing with her: 1. I contacted Pickford Removals and Elana sent me an inventory list to fill out and send back to her so I could receive a quote. I filled out the forms and returned it to her. I never heard a response back from her. I followed up with several follow up emails and calls. She confirmed she received it on one of my follow up calls and would email me back a quote but I NEVER received a response or quote from her. Because of this terrible and unprofessional experience, I decided to go with another competitor company who had excellent client service skills. 2. She came across as extremely rude and unprofessional on the phone. It was extremely unpleasant talking with her. I would recommend that Pickfords Removals Management team investigates her performance and this case because she lost you our business worth R100 000.00 and very bad reputational damage for your brand.
Pickfords is the worst transport company I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. From organizing admin, to collection, to delivery- they were incompetent, unhelpful and disorganized. Our goods were handled with ZERO care, I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.
The responsiveness and customer service honestly lets the business down, but everything was delivered on time and undamaged (Cape Town to Durban).
