Gene-o was the dockmaster. He is a seasoned Islamorada boater that gave us many tips for our first reciprocal visit to this club. Very safety conscious. The boat was beautiful and handled very well in the ocean and bay. Quick access to the to the ocean from this location. Parking was convenient. Definitely recommend!

Been on the waitlist here for months to use a boat. Called to make sure we could use it, told I would get a call back, never happened. Just drove by at snake creek and 4 boats are sitting there. The staff and freedom boat club are continuing to drop the ball. Very sad, as I’ve been a member since 2013 and it used to be a reasonable process for reciprocals. Now it is complicated and you’re at the mercy of lazy dockmasters that don’t care about their job. Since they sold to Brunswick they don’t care anymore.

Zero stars if I could. Had a reservation for today and they called 30 minutes before and cancelled it on us. We are only here in the Keys for a few days and the weather won't be good. But this is indicative of a larger issue we have been having where we have had to book a reservation months in advance either for the weather to be no good the day of or there have just not been boats available for use. We have had our membership for a year and a half and been able to use it only a handful of times. We have tried calling our home base to discuss this but they don't call you back. Very unprofessional organization and very very unhappy with the waste of money this has been. STAY AWAY! Just rent a boat or charter if you want to go out

Freedom boat club is horrible. Local staff is excellent but the club in general is horrible. Barely any boats and most boats under maintenance for months Do not recommend. Been a member for over a year and service is worse by the day.

This group does not use the truth as a Comunication tool. There are many many more members than boats. They are selling boats that may take months to book. Disappointing that a company like Brunswick is the parent company. However Pompano to the Palm Beaches group are trustworthy. Miami and FtLauderdale are part of the ones not trustworthy in my opinion. They dislike reciprocals due to lack of boats If you have an issue reach out to Brunswick headquaters in Illinois
