Jim kindly set my partner and I up on a couple of well maintained and suitable bikes for us both. He also loaned us some gloves and a map, pointed us in the right direction to explore quieter parts of Islay which was fantastic. Would highly recommend, friendly and generous!

Jim fitted my friend and I with nice bikes and had ya on our way in no time. Friendly and a very fair price for a full day rental. Bikes were a great choice to go from Port Ellen out to Laphroaig, Lagavulin, and Ardbeg distilleries. We made it back to Laphroaig just before they closed the tasting room for the day. Never would have covered the ground we did had we not rented the bikes. Top notch.

Jim’s eye for getting the bikes just right for us was great, and he provided everything from panniers and a map to brilliant local knowledge to make the very most of our day - all in a very warm and welcoming way. Would recommend to anyone, cheers Jim!

Excellent and very helpful. My chain broke on the way over from the Mull of Kintyre and he had the replacement chain I needed and very good value as well.

A very relaxed and low-key approach to bike hire. A bike was available when I wanted it, and there didn't seem to be any particular urgency about bringing it back. I had a day's use of a very nice Genesis Volare road bike for a very reasonable cost. I took it on a 100km ride to explore the distilleries of Islay. It wasn't new, but everything worked very well, and the bike coped well with the less than perfect quality of some of the roads.
