Beautiful Priory. Well worth obtaining the keys to look inside. The outside can be viewed from all angles. Just enter the Priory field to the left of the Priory from the front and walk around t he back.
Key holder wasn’t in which ruined the experience, nothing to see on the outside. Should not be a lucky dip to go and see it. The system of having a key holder is not optimal. This experience has happened on several occasions with free entry EH properties, and as a life member, I’m not happy. I would suggest getting the key holder to lock/unlock every dawn and dusk. Or have a contact email address so visits can be arranged in advance. St Andrews Church down the road is interesting. I’d recommend that instead.
Not sure what to say about this, it's an old disused, small church. Has some historical value but not much to see.
Not much to see here, and it's well off the beaten track.
Sign out front listed the keyholder who was not in when I visited. Really not much to see from the outside. St Andrew's church (open) down the road is a completely different story. A lot to see there.
