You got engaged, you get planning, you have closed all your supplier agreements, and think - ah there was the music too! Well, in our opinion one of the most important parts of planning a wedding as the band literally does set the tone of one of your most important days in your life! I have known Sound Generation already for a few years through certain Events and from the moment at which I, the bride, heard Daniel E Walker sing his acoustic version of Hallelujah, not even having known my now husband yet, I knew, he will sing on my wedding. And lucky as we are - the Briggs Street Players said yes alongside their managing partner James from Sound Generation - these guys are a must if you want true talent at your Event. The ceremony was so touching and we had all our guests praising Daniel singing a few songs for us- leading to the party later, when Briggs Street Player just smashed it! From the moment of booking, planning in any additional equipment and song requests, all so easy. Wow - what a perfect day with the most amazing musical addition we could have wished for. Thank you!
We actually stumbled across the Briggs Street Players playing at The Ned in London and straight away knew this was our wedding band, despite having already booked one! I cannot describe how happy we were with the band and with James from Sound Generation. They worked with our style and they even created a bespoke version of our First Dance. The guys are organised, friendly, fun and truly authentic. It felt like they were part of the party. Wedding bands can be really cheesy and quite frankly all the same but this band was so special. Cannot wait to see them again...
I hired Matt from Sound Generation to DJ at my 40th in Soho. I was determined to throw my friends a party they'd remember and great music was crucial! James the owner was a delight to deal with and went above and beyond to help with playlist suggestions, the set-up of the room, he even visited the venue and liaised with them directly to make everything perfect. Matt's DJ'ing was awesome, just the greatest balance. We all need a good party, especially now, and these are THE guys to hire...
Such a great service from start to finish. Great roster of talent to choose from, swift response on all comms and simple and efficient contracting. My husbands 40th birthday dinner was a great success and a huge amount of that was down to the atmosphere and entertainment created by the music. Mike was awesome! Happy to let us get involved and take requests too. Would highly recommend using Sound Generation for any events (big or small).
I would highly recommend these guys! Jame has been helpful from day one, constant communication without and DJ Zulu completely delivered. We have had countless compliments on the music and our dance floor was full from start to finish. Zulu was friendly, approachable and took requests in his stride.
