Professional and Good Service while making duplicate keys.

Volunteered to order a special type of key in for me, without even asking for money up front, then called me when it was in, and again later to let me know his colleague would be in when i was due to pick it up, and where he could find that key. Extraordinary service for something as simple and cheap as a couple of keys. On an earlier occasion he didn’t even charge me for two mailbox keys that he thought may not work (needed to order a special kind of blank — see above). Just so much better than any other key shop I’ve used, where they routinely make dud copies then refuse to refund them.
Been in twice and been given 2 very high prices for basic stuff. Most recently, 35 for a replacement car key case (just the case, not the key). They are readily available for 2 - 10 online including genuine dealer cases, although I was assured that the one on offer was "much better quality".
Guy who is working here has really bad customer service skills. Previous reviews confirm this. Was gonna charge me 20 for a battery change, went to a corner shop near the nearby Shell and the friendly staff member gave me a new battery for something like 2. I managed to replace it but struggled with closing the back cover. When I came back to this Timpson, the guy said "Oh you got the battery from somewhere else? Closing the lid will cost you 15". This was absolutely ridiculous. As if he was punishing me for not buying a battery from him. This is 30s job and doesn't cost a penny so I went to a different Timpson store near my home (Asda Wallington) and they did it for free. Other problems with the branch are the fact that it is closed way too often during times when it shouldn't be (I've seen it closed at 1pm, 3pm, and 12.30pm). The guy working here really needs some customer service skills and is being a disgrace to the Timpson name. Won't return here ever again.

Excellent friendly service and good value. Fisher was really helpful with my many questions and problem heels. He did a great job on repairing a botched job from elsewhere. Thank you.
Got good service fixing my daughter's watch strap and mine too! Manager very helpful. Helped with her school shoes too a few months back. Stretched nicely. Timpsons also support orphaned and fostered children big time. Amazing social responsibility for such a family run business. Not a franchise.
I've very happy with my experience at this branch thanks to the exemplary service I received from Dean Fisher. He was attentive, and accommodated my many questions. He managed to source the correct batteries to fit my Hawke IR 4-16x50mm AO Rifle scope, despite it not having standard fittings in the battery compartment. I've not shopped with Timpson before, but I will definitely return to this branch in future. Thank you very much!
