Found the staff incredibly useful and helpful. After speaking to the lady for a long while on the phone after she helped with my wifi and booking an appointment and speaking to the technicians I am confident that this store can fix any issue I have so thank you

Spoke directly with the store on the phone for quite some time and went through exactly what was wrong with my mac. Was told it would cost around 600 but they would confirm when I brought it in. Drove an hour there the following day to be told by a different person they would do nothing unless I paid 90 for them do a 2hr diagnostic on it. It's very obvious it needs new case and screen, some screws missing from the back, which he had already confirmed. It does not take 2 hours to assess this. No mention whatsoever made about this cost when making the appointment, nor on their website. They then lied and tried to say Apple also charged for assessing repairs. Total lie, never with any of my apple devices or repairs have they charged me to assess and quote, in fact they have on more than one occasion done the actual work for free when they didn't have to. Fuming at the waste of a day and total lack of indifference from staff. They said they would not waive the fee under any circumstance despite not having advertised it or told me when booking, so they lost the repair job worth around 600-1k plus other potential pieces I needed... their store was absolutely dead and the same every time I went past all day.... great job! The guy that served me was monotone and unfriendly, total contrast to every experience I have ever had in an Apple store, absolutely AVOID and go direct to Apple rather than these wannabes.
I had a recall email about the battery on my Macbook Pro. I booked into the iStore and the lads there bent over backwards to do all the work before they shut. I spent the day in Hereford whilst they did the work, which ended up including a new keyboard, trackpad and part of the chassis too. Thanks guys.
I dropped my Mac book pro yesterday and the screen stopped working! Although no physical damage! I was helped by Apple support who established that the actual computer was working by getting me to plug it into the tv via hdmi cable! They concluded the video card was fine and it was likely the screen ribbon was damaged or detached and booked an appointment at the I store Hereford! I Attended at 0920 this morning explained to the technician what had happened! He looked at it for nearly 10 seconds before stating the screen was cracked and need replacing! Then told me it was vintage and the parts were difficult to get hold of and it would cost around 800 to repair and I should probably buy a new one! I drove home examined the screen and there is definitely no crack! With nothing to loose I removed the back cover reconnected the screen ribbon which was clearly detached and Mac book is fully working!!! Based on this they are now the last people in the country I would trust or purchase from!!! Boarderline fraudulent!!!!
