Quite remote. On the Indian pacific train line.

I have been on the Broken Hill Xplorer through this station and the driver stopped specially so we could get out to have a look. There are only two trains a week that stop there. On Monday, the 5:16pm to Broken Hill and on Tuesday, the 10:34am to Sydney. This little station is literally in the middle of nowhere but if you get the chance to get off, make sure you get back on otherwise you may have to wait 6 days for the next train or walk to the nearest town Ivanhoe, which is a 14 hour walk from Darnick station.
A very unique styled station not found anywhere else in the world.
Probably the least used station in australia
