The shrine is located in the mountains and on the way here you will pass little villages and rice fields. The shrine itself is a place of peace and beauty. Surrounded by an ancient forest, you can wander here and explore the symbols of the Shinto religion. It's a nice place to visit here in Hirosaki.

Good gate and we are able to feel Japanese spirit from this Iwakisan Jinjya. We can find two cute monsters behind of the upstairs. Please figure it out.
Really interesting shrine that is one of the newly listed National Ichinomiya temples 一ノ宮 . I was able to get the stamp for the shrine the Goshuin 御朱印 for 300 yen. Be sure to go up to the shrine itself and do a prayer before asking for he sign, or give them your book before and tell them you will head up and come back. Definitely worth a visit.
This is one of the most beautiful shrines I have visited. Since it is winter , there are no sight of tourists just peaceful crisp fresh air.
Iwaki Mount shrine is a famous scenic spot in Aomori. This place is on the half road to the Iwaki mount. With a simple, but solemn building and the far majestic Iwaki Mount as the background, the shrine presents a astonish view. In sakura season, this place is also a nice spot to stay for hang out.
