Great local sake brewery. I took a tour of the brewery over the summer when they were not in production. The staff doesn’t speak English, but they brought in a friend from Tokyo to translate for us. They treated us like royalty at the event. We tasted 14 sakes and they served us a huge spread of food. Located conveniently near the shin-Iwakuni station if you are coming from out of town.

The sake here is one of my favorites! The staff is very friendly and nice. They did a sake pairing dinner for a small group of us and it was amazing. My friends who didn’t like sake after trying it once in the States are now big fans of Japanese sake. They have a small shop here where you can purchase sake and nice sake cups/glasses.
Superb Sake - great customer service - will attempt to answer English questions if necessary and have a short film on Sake production in English. Number one in the local area. Will visit again and again.

ＪＲバスツアーで立ち寄り。 設備を丁重に説明していただけます。 利き酒が有料で試飲できますが価格はまぁまぁ普通の居酒屋価格のような（珍しいのでしょうがないのでしょうが） 工場内に売店があり、取り扱うシュシュの商品をお土産購入できます 少し解りにくいですが、新岩国駅まで徒歩7分位ですのでツアー最後ここでおろしてしてもらって、岩国空港or 新岩国から新幹線で帰宅するのもあると思いました。 各種クレジットカード使用可能です
