Nice stop for a break walking around the park. Friendly staff and welcoming of Americans. English menu available. Their menu is small, for lunch they have some coffees, teas, 3 lunch sets with salads, and a handful of desserts. The curry with rice was a nice quick snack. We also had a monte blanc with chestnut for dessert and it was delicious and sweet.
This is a wonderful, quiet little cafe. We stopped in before heading on to the Kintai Castle and it was the perfect lunch to hold us over for the afternoon. The shrimp pilaf was fantastic (flavorful but mellow - no one ingredient overpowering the others) and my husband had the best curry I've tasted since being in Japan. I finished the meal with a white peach tart and left feeling very content. We will definitely be back.
A very fine lunch experience in a cozy environment. You can even enjoy your drink by the couch! The homemade curry is a delight, and so is the hot cocoa, all that for very affordable prices (700-800 yen for the lunch dishes, 600 for the desserts, 400-500 for the drinks)
Came here for a little snack. Had an iced coffee and cheesecake. Both were delicious and the owner was a sweetheart. Menu is only in Japanese but google translate will help. Also, yen only.
