The gin lover that I am is so happy to have discovered this place! The bartender was super friendly and took his time to explain several cocktails on the menu, the one he recommended me in the end was delicious! Glad I listened to him. The place has a great vibe, it’s big but still cozy and homey.

A very important gin tonic bar. Unique character! A must!

De Haus is a great venue for Gin lovers. Not only they are super nice, but the servers are also specialists in drinks made out of Gin, and will take their time to talk to you about you, present you different options and figure out what suits your taste better. Drive is are made to perfection. The environment can get pretty crowded on weekends (might be hard to find a table), but that's also due to the atmosphere. It's laid back, relaxing, peanut shells on the floor (fun!) and also nice music. I totally recommend visiting this place next time you go to Ixelles!

Excellent Gin list. Good cocktails. Young ambient and electronic music. It's a little bit expensive but it's worthy. Sometimes they have music events and DJs.

Apart from the peanut shells sprinkled all over the floor, this is a very nice bar. The staff was friendly (although a little forgetful of the order, somehow writing stuff down did not seem to be the obvious way to go), the choices were many, even if you are not drinking alcohol, and all featuring in French, Dutch, German and English. Prices were usual for Brussels. You can always ask for free peanuts that come in small baskets. I guess that explains the broken shells everywhere. The toilet was a little small and awkward for guys.
