FG Group began its activities in an office of 70 square meters and staff under the name of FG Textile Industry and Trade Limited Company in Izmir in 1997. In order to increase the volume of production parallel to the growing sales network day by day, it has increased the number of activity centers along with the Ainvestments after Izmir by establishing a denim production factory which is the largest investment throughout the history of the province of Iğdır located in the 6thzone following Istanbul. FG Group has become an globally esteemed organization by means of the laser machines and spray robots that it produces with large R & D investment in technology, including especially prevention of the disease 'silicosis'​ seen in the industry, contribution to the environment by less use of chemicals, water and fuel and sustainable top quality structure in the production. FG Group continuing its support and investment as strategic partner in 'Denim City'​ project conducted on making Amsterdam a 'denim city'​, has become a strategic partner of the world's first Denim School called House of Denim educating the next generation of talents for the industry in 2013. The project of which it has become a strategic partner is the Blue Lab Wash R & D Laboratory which will open its doors as a result of the restoration of an old train factory within Denim City building at the beginning of 2015. It will be directly linked to working with Denim School and undertake a central task in preparation of R & D activities of high levels of customers'​ collection. ‘Blue Lab’ is the first of its kind in Europe with its structure bringing together the industry's leading brands and manufacturers on a common platform.
