Been working on cars for 40 years. It has been very difficult finding a knowledgeable and trustworthy shop. J&W are fantastic. They are honest and upfront with no surprises. A true value and quality work.

Can't trust them. There is a noise on the right side of the car, in the front. Its obvious, you CAN'T NOT HEAR it. They said the car wouldn't start and it needed a starter. They said they road tested the car, (the same car that wouldn't start), and hey didn't hear any noise. There was never a problem starting the car but, we gave authorization to replace the starter. Asked them again if they heard the noise, they said there was no noise and they DID drive the car. After the repairs and before leaving the parking lot, the noise was as loud as ever. Makes you wonder......Did it really not start? Did it really need the starter? If they couldn't hear this noise, (a noise that is evident to everyone that sits in the car), how can I be sure they are qualified to condemn the starter? OR! Did they lie about DRIVING the car and say there is no noise? ALSO, are they lying about the starter being bad? Two days after picking up the car, and still hearing the noise, the car wouldn't start! Turns out the trans shift cable is broken and the trans is stuck in drive position. The shift cable is right next to the starter, what a coincidence huh? So, did it need the starter? Did they misdiagnose a non-existent no start issue and throw a starter in it, or did it legitimately not start and need a shift cable and they just couldn't figure it out? Did they break the shift cable while they were replacing the starter that was never a problem? Either way......THEY ARE NOT TRUSTWORTHY! And if you have a noise, be prepared to hear it after you spend a ton of money on repairs that might not be needed and create additional problems. Save yourself the trouble, money and frustration!

An excellent service, honest, pressure-less opinions and decent prices! John and Rich are happy to help, yet warn you when it doesn't make sense to spend on service/parts that are not going to give you the 'bang for the buck'. It helps that I live around the corner, but it's not only the convenience that will have me coming back again!
