Service was great. We were worried about that coming here due to some of the negative reviews but we had a good experience. We came on a Friday around 11:30. I ordered the bahn mi breakfast sandwich and my husband ordered the big f’n burrito. Food didn’t take too long to come out once ordered. Overall both of ours were good but didn’t blow us away. The bahn mi bread tasted a little too thick and sort of stale for my liking. My husband liked his meal fine but didn’t think it was anything outstanding. As some others had mentioned, the silverware is kept bins on the table so some customers must think thats a good place to throw their trash. Would come back to try their flapjacks or waffles. They have a happy hour between 1-2 where those are all 5.

This took a little extra effort to find, but realized it's inside a galleria of sorts. There was a wait--two people in front of me who were told to place their name on a clipboard on a table just outside the door; I put mine on as well. Other people straggled in and with no one really present at the door to take names, advise on the wait, etc. it made for a confusing wait. While tables opened up, others who had not placed their names on the waitlist and waited inside the doorway (difficult to do considering this is a very compact dining spot with tables practically jutting up to the entrance) went ahead and sat down at the empty tables. Seeing as no one was watching the door and wait, we (the couple in ahead of me and I) saw that we'd have to do the same--keep an eye out for a free table and ask to be seated. When finally seated, I saw Jack Flaps' version of Huevos Rancheros on the menu: it sounded good, except for the "gravy" mentioned in the description--and I ordered that on the side. When it came out, it looked appetizing though ended up being a disappointment: the tortillas were slightly soft and dense--more like a very thin and dry cake texture--black beans were pressed in between the two tortillas but were sticky and--again--dry, so it was only the eggs and pico de gallo that I ended up eating. I had high hopes for this breakfast but it just didn't appeal at all. :(

Grabbed a quick bite here while on a trip to Cleveland. Got the breakfast burrito and it was too big to finish!

There can be a wait here on the weekends. I had a delicious waffle for lunch. The staff was friendly and helpful after I spilled my full glass of orange juice on myself. The burrito is popular here.

Good atmosphere... A little loud but not bad for a busy breakfast place. Benedicto Mexicano was a wonderful dish with a flavorful combination of eggs, jalapeno cornbread, chorizo-ranchero gravy and herb crema. Cornbread was a little dry for my taste but this may be just today. Liked it overall and would definitely recommend.

Great service, a little slow but not bad if you aren't in a rush. Great food and specials!

When arriving in Cleveland, I was looking for a place to eat. Jack Flaps was the most crowded place so I assumed it would be good. And this was correct! Super friendly waitress, a good selection of food (also for vegetarians), attentive chief, nice furniture. Burrito was great, although you should not expect a typical Burrito ;-)
