Rather gruesome as you would expect. There has been much written about this individual. I found the museum very interesting and the way it is laid out is very good. I would recommend when you take a London bus tour hop off and take a look. I'd allow yourself around an hour. Staff very friendly.

Just finished their Virtual Tour in the safety of my own home. Really enjoyed looking around all the floors and finding out about different objects in probably a bit more depth than I would have if i'd walked around it. It looks wonderfully designed - very atmospheric, and some rightfully grim, so I look forward to returning, in real life, to see the artefacts for myself.
Me and my partner visited the Jack the Ripper museum, the entry fee was 12 pounds and the staff member at the reception was very friendly and helpful, informative too and mentioned about what each floor has; my favourite floor was the second floor which was Jack the Ripper sitting room and how he might have lived which I think was a good idea and a brilliant feature and really did give an insight to how Jack the Ripper lived. The basement was the morgue which also gave an eerie feeling and has photos of the victims bodies so not for the faint heartened. Going up the stairs to the other floors were spooky and definitely gave the eerie feeling too. The little gift shop on the ground floor had plenty of choice. We both enjoyed our visit to the museum and definitely recommend to others and will be going again.
Bit smaller than i would have liked but otherwise very knowledgeable and i learned a few things
Went for a visit today. Well laid out over a few floors. Good descriptions and very clean and lots of old artifacts. The basement schibit is for 16s and over. You soon get a good feel for crammed living in Victorian times.
