A hidden gem! Compact but packed with artifacts of everyday life, especially clothing. The working scale model of the largest deep mine in the motherlode should not be missed.

Nice museum in a historic home. The second floor is difficult to go up if you have trouble with stairs. Plan on a couple hours if you want to see all the exhibits. Very knowledgeable volunteers. Enjoy learning about the local mining!
