I would like to thank Dr. Jon Lake and his staff at Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice Home for the amazing care and compassion that was given in July 2019 for my mom. In January 2014 the same level of care was given to my dad at the end of his life. The entire staff there are so caring, kind, compassionate and concerned for the patient and their families. Thank you is not enough to show our appreciation in what you did for my parents. I will always remember what you did for them. May God continue to bless the caregivers. Paul Kope and family
On August 25th 2015 My Wife lost Her life fighting cancer due to the nursing staff turning off Her pain medications the night of August 24th 2015 then giving Her a lethal dose of morphine and fentanyl the morning of the 25 August 2015 to attemptto bring Her pain back under control. I requested all of My wifes medical records from Her stay at this hospice and found that their nursing staff lied on their reports multiple times. We trusted these people and in return they euthanized My wife of 22 years as though She was a dog they no longer wanted to care for.
In 2013, my family made the heart breaking decision to place my Mother, Nancy Horsch, here. It turned out to be the best decision we ever made. The folks that work in this facility are incredibly special; caring; tender; always putting your dear one first. They also, however, intuitively know how to help you (whether you're a daughter, son, husband, grand-child, niece or nephew)---if you need to talk or need to be alone in your thoughts. At such a difficult time in one's life, I can't encourage families enough to consider the Allegiance Hospice Home. The incredible team of wonderful professionals know what they're doing; and they do it with the utmost care, privacy and yes--love. I am not a fan of the Allegiance Health System...but the Hospice Home gave the most excellent care I've ever seen my Mother receive. I adored her...and I now adore those very special people who cared for her at the end of her life. They all deserve special recognition. It cannot be easy to do their job...but, each and every one of the staff went above and beyond what was expected. I saw the same level of care when my Aunt passed there a year ago. They are wonderful!
This place was amazing for my mom. It is more than just a place for the ill. It is about love and family. We would not have been able to get through the loss of our mother without these very special angels
As someone who has worked with the elderly for the last 10 years at a facility similar to this one, i'm here to tell you that this place is THE BEST! My Grandmother passed away here almost two years ago and i'm still in awe of this special facility, including the staff who work there. They went ABOVE and beyond what they were required to do. My whole family is thankful for the care and support that was given to my Grandmother and to us during that difficult time. She was a special lady and she was treated that way until her last breath. I am currently in nursing school and I am 100% dedicated on working with Henry Ford when i'm finished because they provide the kind of care that EVERYONE deserve to Receive. Thank you so much for giving my Grandma and my family the peace we needed. It will never be forgotten.
