Our daughter was home for four days and never had a nurse visit. The day of our daughters death I called the nurse. Our daughter had purple urine. The nurse was not concerned, didn't know what caused it. We could have rented a bed and brought her home for the comfort we received for her. She was dead over 5 hours before anyone came.

We were told to leave our Dad alone when we called after hours, my Dad was complaining of nausea. Our experience was not all together pleasant. Just seem like there was much compassion for the most part. Dont call after hours for sure!

I was very pleased with the care my Father received from Hospice of West Tennessee. From the initial phone call speaking with Stacey, the admissions nurse Pam, then meeting Dad's actual hospice nurse Carol, and Dr Koonce, and Chris coming to help me bathe Dad and make him so comfortable, and for Kenzie and Lisa the on call in the middle of the night nurses who supported me and my family through Dad's transition to his new Life eternal. I can't thank you all enough for the tremendous support and care you provided for my Dad, me, and the rest of his family, which provided for a peaceful, restful, and easier transition for my Dad. Truly amazing, and that is because God has you all where you are supposed to be serving Him. I am saddened that we did not get to meet other members of our team the CNA Tina Turner...Dad and I were looking forward to her, the Chaplain, and also the social worker because Dad decided with the Lord it was time to go he didn't really need all that, but I am sure they would have been just as wonderful. Having to care for your loved one at the end of their life it is important that you have a good hospice team because it is not easy. Hospice of West Tennessee made the hardest time in my life much more peaceful and easier for me, my Dad and his family. God bless all of your wonderful, caring, serving, compassionate hearts. I surely appreciated all your hugs, dedication, and kindness. I know my Dad really did too even though he could no longer communicate effectively. You all loved him like you knew him. He was a great Dad and person, and his heart knew yours, and that is all that matters.
