This tour was great! We did the half day wildlife tour. Bryce was super knowledgeable and a great tour guide. It worked out that we had an unplanned private tour, so that was awesome! We saw a TON of wildlife and FOUR moose! It was so cool! Would 100% recommend this tour!

I would give this company ten stars if I could! What an incredible experience! Our tour guide was Bryce. He was extremely knowledgeable about the wildlife and history of the area! He was able to answer specific questions about certain species and their behaviors. We only did the half day trip but we still saw so many different kinds of animals! We saw a herd of bighorn sheep up close and personal on the road in the elk refuge. In the refuge and in Grand Teton National Park we also saw a bald eagle, a herd of bison, about five or six adult and baby moose, a herd of elk, a handful of trumpeter swans and various water fowl, a beaver, an otter and a muskrat. It was incredible! :D I've never been so excited! Ha ha. This trip was so worth the money! They give you snacks and a water bottle to keep. They bring along binoculars for every person and a large tripod scope to share amongst the group. The van was very spacious and comfortable. The safari trip was by far the best part of my trip to Jackson Hole! If you are trying to decide between driving yourself or spending the extra to go on a safari tour you should definitely spend the extra!
First and foremost, Jody was AMAZING. We couldn’t have asked for a more knowledgeable, friendly, and fun guide. He fit right in with us, and helped make our day so memorable. We did the full day safari with sleigh ride through the elk refuge, and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We were also lucky enough - thanks to Jody’s good eye - to have a “3 dog day.” Meaning we saw wolves, a fox, and coyotes at the very end. Highly recommend spending a day with this tour group.
Dave was a FANTASTIC guide. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the animals and the history of the town. He knew all the right spots to look and we saw a lot of great wildlife, even though we went on a pretty quiet day. My only regret is not bringing more cash for a tip. Thank you, Dave! Can't wait to return!
We went for a full day private safari tour with Jody. It was one of the best tour experiences we had. Jody is fun, informative, accommodating, and a wealth of knowledge about local culture, wildlife and history. The visibility that day was low, but we got to see moose, bisons, big horned sheep, grouse, coyote feasting on some carcass and of course the elks( the elk reserve trip is conducted by a separate company and was woven into our safari trip) - all in their natural habitats. It was wonderful and we can’t wait to come back again in spring to check out the baby animals and hopefully we can travel wil Jody again:)
Wow! I can’t say enough about Jackson Hole Wildlife Safaris! We came to Jackson last minute with one goal in mind - to see and photograph Grizzly Bear 399 and her 4 cubs - a very tall order as she is of course a wild bear. We had Seth as our guide for 4 days and I cannot day enough incredible things about him and our tours. Not o my did we see Grizzly 399 every day but so much more as well. If you are looking to get the best tour in Jackson with great guides, you can’t go wrong here, and I highly suggest Seth!
They were on time , professional, responsive.. Bryce was our guide he was amazing he is super knowledgeable we learned so much from him. We saw so many animals even with the snow out !! Highly recommend them . Kenny and Jessica
We booked a memorable Yellowstone tour and Ash was our guide. She is amazing! Was very informative and got our tour started off right by getting us some great views of buffalo and elk! I’m thankful my son and I had Ash as our guide! We had a great time and can’t wait to tour with her again when we’re back here.
