Great place for pictures, but any form of travel (car, plane, bus, maybe even boat & bike) will be faster and more reliable travel.
Why go through small towns like Michigan center at 2 am blowing your horn a few times a week???
the excitement of the sound of the train comming in and the old building is like stepping back in time.
This station is one of the oldest, continuously use passenger rail stations in America. It was first opened on September 1, 1873 and has been serving the Jackson community ever since. Once upon a time, over 50 passenger trains stopped here a day between three different railroads. Now, there are only six scheduled trains between Detroit and Chicago to choose from. The station still retains a lot of its original look from the 1870s and is on the National Register of Historic Places.
