Dr. Hand began helping me at a very horrible time in my life. His wisdom and experience truly helped. He isn’t afraid to ask questions that bring about resolutions. Sometimes that is exactly what a person receiving counseling needs. I will be forever grateful for Dr. Hand’s help. (Highly recommend his counseling services).

My husband and I have been coming to this practice for a while, now. We both talk to Carol Heckaman, and we absolutely think she is the very best! She is super friendly, very knowledgeable, and very insightful. Carol has helped us both so much! My husband and I each have tried therapists in the past, but we never had anyone be so caring, so personable, so PERFECT for us. Carol gives plenty of feedback, and lots of wonderful advice. I would definitely recommended coming here.

All he kept saying was \I'm confused\. I tried to explain my doctor said to and he cut me off \I'm confused why you're here\. Strongly suggest going else where. Wasnt even in there 10 minutes and walked out. I've been to other places where they treated me better and like they cared/were interested. Not very welcoming for first time visiting.. I'm fighting the bill I got for 6 minutes.

I can only speak from my experience as an adult. No idea how he is with children. Most of the other reviews just give opinions without any examples as to why they feel he is not good. My experience is good so far after several months of seeing him. Do we have disagreements?....yes. Has he gotten me upset and irritated?....yes. The reasons I have gotten worked up are due to him probing into my problems and I feel that is his job. He readily and sincerely apologizes when he goes too far and then makes sure to be more careful in those areas. If you want someone that will sit there and just listen while giving no feedback, then he's probably not for you, but if you want someone that makes an attempt at getting to the root of your problems, then I suggest giving him a chance. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because he seems to always run behind and can get off topic at times.

He is grossly incompetent, and should not be licensed. He blames trauma survivors for their experiences. Not sure how he is able to practice.
