Unexpected and very cool place right on the highway. I didn’t know it existed until I was driving by on my trip to North Dakota, and it I found it to be pretty darn awesome. Each old windmill had a history plaque of how old it (probably) was, where it was found, who made it. It is right in front of landfill, but I detected no smell in the half hour I was there. And while I was there, a freight train went by (the tracks are in between where the windmills are and the landfill) - that was pretty exciting for a city dweller! Don’t miss this site, you won’t be disappointed in the fun of it.

Here is amazing place, not only for windmill geeks. Each windmill is of course great, but moreover, the landscape is the highlight! Here should be parallelly called the treasure of Nebraska like Carhenge near Alliance and Parade of Flags in Seward!
