We only had time to see the Mississippi History Museum--will check out the Civil Rights Museum another day. The exhibits were very interesting and informative. We enjoyed learning about the history of our state. The cafe is also good, featuring ssndwiches, salads, and soups by Fresh Cut catering.

We just had our daughters wedding at the Two Museums and the venue was perfect.
Great museum. Do not bring gum or any food or drink. They will make you throw it away.
Visited both museums. Interesting facts about Mississippi through the years. The Civil Rights museum told a dark history of Mississippi. It's a must see. Be prepared to spend a few hours taking it all in.
This is the most impactful experience in Jackson. The Civil Rights museum takes your breath away by making you realize you are at ground zero for histroic racism. The history museum is a simple but enjoyable tour through Mississippi from the first people to today. Only 12 for both!
