My first visit was on my birthday. This place did not disappoint. Service was friendly and fast, the food was wonderful, the owner personally greeted us (and everyone), the drinks were incredible and the environment was a whole vibe. If you are looking for something different you found it right here. The decor and music will make you feel like you wandered into a Hawaiian pub. Great for date night or ladies night! You must try once and you will be hooked!!

One of Jacksonville's best hidden gems . The decora is very cool and original. They have so many great specialty drinks. The staff is so friendly.
Absolutely outstanding!!! Drinks were great. Staff was fantastic. Food was really good! Prices are fair! Plenty of parking and super fun atmosphere! Clean!
Awesome hidden (meaning no reservations - no seat) hole in the wall gem! Great and clever tiki drinks to wet the thirstiest palate and some good snack foods as well. Do yourself a fact and make some reservations ahead of time and check this place out!
I've been to many tiki bars, and I've almost never experienced a commercial bar that felt so like a friend's homebar. I tremendously appreciated everything about the decor, food, drink, and experience. Make a reservation more than a day out. The kitchen is currently out, so you cannot eat in the restaurant, but based on the quality of the apps they are currently serving I'm planning a trip back specifically to try the duck and other food. They have a mug, although the lantern mug (an artful creation from Taboo Relics) was done as a pre-order and not available onsite when we visited. They clearly love this stuff, so I'm sure the merch program will be interesting over time. The drinks were tasty, and on advice of my server I tried the "Velvis"...and off menu concoction of banana, rum, cherry(?), peanut(?) and more (in the style of The King's PBJ sandwiches). I ordered it, half expecting not to like it (as I am not a fan of peanut in thai food for example) but I was surprised at how drinkable it was. (Pro tip: I'm told they have a Large number of off menu drinks to try. Also, I'm DYING to try the "Spam-tai" in a flaming tin.)
Everytime we've came here it has been and absolutely pleasurable phenomenal absolutely astounding experience, the low lite scenery too the perfection of the dim sum, and the details in the beverages all the way down to the specified cup they are served in. If you are able to get reservations to this place please take your time and enjoy the experience presented before you. Tiger shirt guy loves coming to this place!!!!
In A Nutshell: -The Secret Tiki Temple is really a "secret" b/c in order to enter you must obtain the password of the day. -As we walked inside the restaurant I saw a couple groups of people ahead of us, but when the hostess asked for the password, we were let in ahead of the other people immediately. -So make sure you find out what the password of the day is & sorry I am not gonna tell you how! -Once you are inside, you are amazed by the Instagramable decor which resembles a 1980's Hawaii theme. -The service does take some time, but it appeared they might've been short staffed, so in cases like that, you just need to make sure you know what to order & order big. -The Happy Hour specials are the best deal so make sure you take advantage of that. -The Spam Fried Rice served in the can is a nice touch, but you don't get much so if you have several people, make sure everyone orders their own. -All of the tiki drinks were pretty good, but I think the Mai Tai is the best deal since it's on the Happy Hour menu. Overall, the owner was pretty cool, he likes to walk around & talk to everyone which is nice. This is a very good tiki bar in JAX.
Really nice tiki bar. There was an abbreviated menu when I went due to some kitchen remodeling, but the crispy duck and pork dumplings were very good.
