Just a small hole in the wall spot on Hillside but it serves fresh, delicious and authentic food from El Salvador. Service is friendly and efficient and they keep the place clean. It's not fancy but they take care of you and it's a tasty comfortable spot.

Great pupusas. A little on the greasy side but the taste is what matters!
The only reason I keep coming to this place is because it’s conveniently on the way. The couple on the register always an older lady and a old man (Ramon) are just incredibly RUDE. I’m coming in to BUY my food not BEG for food. Now they started charging people an “Open food tax” on top of the regular state tax. I have called 311 and nobody has any information as to what this is, therefore I have made a report to the NYC tax and finance office about this possible scam. I would advice everyone to check their receipts!!!!! I’ve included a picture for your reference.
Excellent food especially the pupusas, it taste so good
My Salvadoran aunt loved them and me and my husband did also. The pupusas are great, the atole de elote was wonderful and the horchata was delicious. They are also very clean, and everyone is wearing their masks something to really look for during this pandemic. Highly recommended.
