About as good as any other modern surgery these days but don’t ever expect to see a doctor here, as you’ve got more chance of winning the lottery. It’s a nurse practitioner or nothing. Ok, the nurse practitioners are pretty good to be fair, but what on Earth do these doctors do all day as I’ve never seen a doctor at this surgery since I joined over three years ago. One can only assume they’re sat in their consulting room with their feet up on the table reading a newspaper. Yes James Street Family Nurse Practitioner Practice is good but the doctors are really surplus to requirement.

Good choice of doctors, most of whom are excellent and thorough. Receptionists are professional yet approachable, nurses knowledgeable and efficient. Appointment system allows patients to be seen face to face if necessary on the day of calling (after triage phone call with doctor of choice, if available), otherwise any concerns can be discussed and resolved over phone. All in all an excellent team. Would highly recommend.

My wife and I just registered and we couldn't have had better service from the very friendly and helpful reception staff. I even got a same day appointment. Saw a Nurse Practitioner and was referred to hospital. Got a hospital appointment next day! The NHS is there when you really need it.
