I had an amazing stay at la Tangara. The staff was really heart warming and were always willing to help you out. The hostel is a very pleasant place to relax and enjoy the nature. I really longed for this after Medellin. The (green!) view and the atmosphere are superb. The hostel was very neat and clean. The only thing that I missed that there was no place to store your bag in the dorm. However, I preferred this hostel over my own house during the pandemia so do not withold a stay because of this cubboard! La Tangara is honestly a great hostel with lovely people.

Amazing place, the ride outside of town adds to it'charm. It's a nice place to chill within nature surrounded by 3 friendly dogs, tons of colorful birds/wildlife(including chickens whose eggs you eat in the mornings occasionally) and an amazing host!

Beautiful location far from the city and an amazing 40 minute walk into Jardin. Breakfast was delicious and the host is incredibly accommodating and kind.
Excelente lugar para descansar y la atención por su dueña e hija son lo mejor del lugar, te despiertas con el sonido de diferentes aves y la quebrada muy muy recomendado super aseado
Hostal rural rodeado de mucha naturaleza y muchos animales. Puedes realizar avistamiento de aves desde el hostal y sus alrededores. Excelente atención, el hostal es muy acogedor. Muy recomendado.
