Im an over the road trucker, and i suffered a seizure out of the blue at the truck stop down the road. I was in the hospital for 3 days in Chattanooga, during this time they cared for my 5.5 month old red nose puppy. They didnt have too, but they took care of him, and when i was released, they brought him back to me. They didnt ask for anything, or give me a bill, they just gave him back and said \we hope you feel better\. I know it dosent seem like much, but it meant the world to me. Thank y'all so much

I'm happy to have the men and women that serve Marion county. I had a guy on drugs come crashing out of the woods at 9:30 pm when I was feeding the horses. I had to escort him off my property at gunpoint. The next morning I went to the sheriff's home and he took the time to listen to me even though\u200b I interrupted his personal time off and sent 2 outstanding young deputies to check the woods to make sure the guy wasn't cooking meth or squatting on my property. They found nothing and still treated it like a serious matter and did further investigation to find out more about this guy. Also, the Whitwell police sent extra patrols on my road at night and took the time to come to my home and let me know what's going with that guy and what level of threat to my family and neighbors he was. Once again I interrupted the officers personal time while he was eating a meal and he stopped what he was doing to find what happened the night before and investigate this guy. I feel lucky to live in a community where our law enforcement is approachable and so helpful. I can't say enough. If I could afford it I would buy them the best equipment money can buy as a token of my appreciation. Thanks so much guys for your immediate help.
The Marion County Sheriff Dept charged a woman with neglect for making her kids walk to school because they missed the bus. The police claim \it was cold\, but temps were in the 40s-60s all that week. I'm from TN, but I spent time up north in NY and MA and kids walk to school in temps under 0. I think it is actually the sheriff who needs to be charged with neglect. They obviously are neglecting their actual job of fighting REAL crime if this is the stuff they are worried about. Keep your nose out of places it doesn't belong. And if her kids missed the bus, they were going to have to get to school somehow. You charged her for driving without a license, but that could have happened even if she had driven them. And if she had chosen to let then stay home (probably what they were trying to accomplish in the first place) you would have charged her for letting her kids miss too much school. So, how about you mind your own business when parents are trying to teach their kids a valuable lesson.
there over crowded and its nasty there was 62 people in a 18 person cell the hsus will not let shelters have more animals than they can house they do not allow over crowding are mistreatment so why is the jail which houses people which are someones friends and love ones a least held to the same standard they should be shut down if the hsus came into jasper county jail and treated it like a shelter for animals and acted like the inmates were there animals everyones name that was tied to having to do with the jail would be facing serious charges guaranteed...... bet my life on it the reason for the one star rating is you have to select one are you cant post there should be a selection for no star........
