My husband and I had a fantastic experience using JEC Air Conditioning for the installation of our new ducted AC upstairs as well as two split system units in our downstairs area. Each representative of the company we dealt with were professional and very pleasant. Everything went like clockwork and we were surprised at how quickly they were able to get it ordered and installed especially leading up to Christmas. I would highly recommend the installers, Steve & Zac. They made recommendations as to where to place the outlets so they were not obvious and operated more efficiently and left my house cleaner than when I went off to work each morning. They even put my husband's motor bike back in the carport as they needed to move it to get access. Thanks Gary and Max for your extra attention to the details, and the external finish was also neat and tidy. Thanks for a great job.

A BAD AND UNNECESSARY EXPERIENCE: We purchased a new Fujitsu air conditioning system from JEC Air in late 2018. From the outset, and before we paid the final invoice, we complained about how poorly the unit performed in terms of cooling. We were assured by them it was functioning normally. A short time later, but after we had paid the invoice, I phoned them to say that the green on/off switch was flashing and told them the error code. I was told to turn off the circuit at the power board and then re-start it after 30 minutes. I did that and it re-started. They never came out to investigate the issue. This summer the unit has stopped on numerous occasions and each time I did the above fault recovery and it re-started. However, we were so underwhelmed by this problem and the unit’s cooling performance that we got a Fujitsu service company to come and see if they could improve its performance. They found the installation was faulty and gave us a written report outlining the problem. This same service company repaired the fault and re-charged the system. On the first really hot day since the repair the unit is working to our complete satisfaction. Each room is cool and comfortable. The repair and re-charge cost was 517.00, but JEC Air would not reimburse us. Our disappointment and discomfort could have easily been avoided if they had jumped on the problem right at the outset. At day one they should have recognised that the unit was not working properly and responded accordingly, but they didn’t!
